October 6, 2021- 'The COE urges municipalities to require the vaccination card to enter closed spaces-
"The Ministry of Health requested this Wednesday, October 6, 2021, local governments to establish the vaccination card as a requirement to enter closed public service establishments.
“There is a slight increase in infections at the community level. There is a population over 18 years of age that is not vaccinated, ”Minister Ximena Garzón reported at a press conference from the National Emergency Operations Committee.
Ella Garzón insisted on the need for the population to be vaccinated to achieve economic and social reactivation. "If we relax, there will be outbreaks and possibly we will not be able to control them," the minister insisted.
In addition, the National COE approved:
Increase the capacity in public and private offices from 50% to 70%.
Preventive isolation for passengers from Brazil is eliminated. They must present the vaccination card and PCR tests.
The capacity of school transport rises to 75%.
Maintain 100% capacity in interprovincial transport. "-
