Boo👻🎃 31OCT23- "The surfing community is in mourning. Ecuadorian surfer Israel Barona died of an apparent heart attack while at a surfing competition in El Salvador. He was 34 years old and one of the members of the national surfing team.
He was the brother of Dominic 'Mimi' Barona. Fellow Ecuadorian surfer Jonathan 'Gato' Zambrano Chila, who was with Barona in El Salvador, shared an emotional message on his social networks."

Nanci Ann Kinser That was the preliminary finding. He might have had a heart defect of some kind. Another report said he suffered seizures.
