19JAN24- "To date, 2,174 arrests have been made in the operations during the internal armed conflict (158 for terrorism); In addition, 72 interventions were carried out against terrorist groups. In these interventions, it was recorded that five antisocials, considered by the government as terrorists, were killed.
Among the objects seized in these recent operations are 885 firearms, 1,069 knives, 64 feeders and 25,822 ammunition. There was also the seizure of 15 boats, $18,523 USD dollars and 4,639 explosives. The head of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces, Admiral Jaime Vela, stated that the presence of miltary units was reinforced on roads, aquatic spaces, borders and airports of the country..." -

i see peeps now a days getting legally armed in about a 3-4 months time frame, kinda like a tuff assed visa process!
