"With these 10 hour blackouts, I've been trying to maximize the amount of work I get done while I have electricity.
To extend that time I went yesterday to Computron in Cumbaya Quito to buy a UPS battery backup for my router. There is a run on them for sure.
The store was filled with people wanting to buy the same thing.
However, as with generators, supplies are quickly waning. As I was paying for the pricey APC model, another guy came in and was told I bought the last one. The poor guy looked sad.
Anyway, keep in mind, if you want to do more than just gracefully shut down your computer, you're gonna have to shell out for a good APC Schneider Electric model, because they only have cheap or expensive, nothing in between.
The good news is that the sales guy told me they have more just waiting to clear customs in Guayaquil."

plan on about $300 for to join the gun club,about $200 or up to $300 for the CCW course,about $300 for psyche, psycho and toxico exams,
a 9mm Taurus for say $1200.
a 9mm CZ for say $1500.
aprox $80 to $100 for a box of 50rds 9mm FMJ
i see peeps now a days getting legally armed in about a 3-4 months time frame, kinda like a tuff assed visa process!
