12DEC24 "Ecuador State Attorney General Diana Salazar joins Argentine President Javier Milei, Brasilian Minister Marina Silva, and Spanish fútbol player Jenni Hermoso on Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2024.
The full list was announced on December 12 and includes Artists, Icons, Titans, Leaders, Innovators and Pioneers. In addition, it is complemented by the election of the Person of the Year, who in 2024 is none other than the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump.
Last April 2024, Time had already anticipated that Salazar would be part of the prestigious list that is announced each year. What does Time say about prosecutor Salazar? The magazine has included Salazar in the list of the 100 most influential leaders.
It says that "Diana Salazar Méndez, the youngest person, 42 years old, and the first black woman to hold the position of highest police authority in Ecuador, has one of the hardest and most dangerous jobs in the Western Hemisphere." -
