"There are mafias inside and outside the hospital," patients cry out after surgery at the Carlos Andrade Marín iess hosp , in Quito- "As the same thing happened in the IESS hospital in Guayaquil, dozens of police and military intervened at the Carlos Andrade Marín hospital in Quito, due to alleged threats to its staff.⛑

The operation was led by the ministers of Defence, Gian Carlo Loffredo, and of the Interior, John Reimberg, who entered together with a strong contingent of the two state security forces.🪖National Police and Ecu Military provide Security a Block intervention at 'Carlos Andrade Marín Hospital' (HCAM) of IESS in Quito."🏢🏬🏩🏣(jjinecu: It is an enormous Facility, takes up an entire city block)

Interior Minister Reimberg said that an elite team will remain at the hospital collecting information that will lead to determining the origin and objective of the threats. "We are doing our second intervention in a hospital. We have come because we have heard of certain threats to the staff and managers who work in the hospital," Reimberg told the media in Quito.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Defense, Gian Carlo Loffredo, added that there have been threats against the lives, follow-ups and even damage to property of hospital officials. (My JJinEcu comments: this is the largest Hospital Facility in all of Ecuador, and is my primary go to iess Hospital, i have a follow up appt there next month, great folks great service when all is going well, it does have its lil ups and downs -

now a days The CCW is pretty much streamlined down to this:

plan on about $300 for to join the gun club,about $200 or up to $300 for the CCW course,about $300 for psyche, psycho and toxico exams,

a 9mm Taurus for say $1200.
a 9mm CZ for say $1500.
aprox $80 to $100 for a box of 50rds 9mm FMJ

i see peeps now a days getting legally armed in about a 3-4 months time frame, kinda like a tuff assed visa process!

25JUN25 "Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa announced this Thursday the capture of Adolfo Macías Villamar, alias "Fito ," considered the leader of the Los Choneros organized crime group.

"For those who opposed and doubted the need for the Solidarity and Intelligence laws : thanks to those laws, Fito was captured today and is in the hands of the Security Bloc," the president posted on the social network X.

"We have done our part to proceed with Fito's extradition to the United States , and we await your response. Have a good afternoon, Ecuador," Noboa added.

The criminal leader had been on the run for over a year and a half , after escaping from the Guayaquil Regional Prison and hiding his tracks while the country was engulfed in a spiral of violence, culminating in the brief takeover of a television station.
