In the canton Loja will no longer govern the measure announced on July 15, 2021, where the members of the Emergency Operations Center (COE) of Loja, established the mandatory use of the vaccination certificate from August 9 for entry to commercial premises, supermarkets, municipal markets and other establishments such as nightclubs, bars and gyms.

The request from the COE is that people lagging behind access to the vaccine, do not allow rumors and bad information can affect their health in the future. "In Loja, the figures are encouraging, it is one of the first provinces to have a greater number of people inoculated at the country level and that gives us the possibility of reactivating us more easily,” he stressed.
In the last meeting held by the Cantonal COE it was ratified that the circulation in Loja is restricted from 23:00 to 05:00; attention on business transfers from 05:00 to 22:00; as well as the capacity of 50% for business transfers and churches, 60% for cinemas, theaters and auditoriums; gyms 30%; and, public transport 75%.
