Despite the state refusal, more and more actors from the public and private sector are demanding a guideline clear of the government for this item. There are even those who propose the implementation of the blockchain in other areas.
For example, the current Ecuadorian parliamentarian Fernando Villavicencio had proposed during his electoral campaign the use of the blockchain for the registration of contracts agreed by the State. The purpose of the idea, he claimed at the time, was to combat corruption by facilitating access to information for legislators.
However, at the moment no initiative of this type has advanced in the South American country. While indoors they seek to limit operations with cryptocurrencies, there are already educational entities that propose to learn about them to avoid falling into scams."-
